Dark Shadows is a 2012 American comedy horror film based on the 1966–1971 gothic horror soap opera of the same name. The film is directed by Tim Burton and stars Johnny Depp as Barnabas Collins. This movie released on May 10, 2012.In 1752, Collins family went over from Liverpool to North America. Their son, Barnabas, grows up to be a wealthy playboy in the town. He breaks the heart of one of their servants, who is a witch. After Barnabas rejects her, she kills his parents in revenge and curses his family. (92)
