If you were given three wishes, what would you wish for? It's best to think twice, as Ned and Nat find out in this story. This charming retelling of a traditional European folktale has easy-to-read text and fun puzzles to try.

This book was retold by Lesley Sims and illustrated by Elisa Squillace. This series books have fun puzzles at last, so you can enjoy this book. This story is about Ned, Nat, a fairy, and a sausage. Long time ago, Ned and Nat were very poor and always hungry. One day, when he work in the fields, a fairy appeared. He helped her, so she said to him "Thank you. Have three wishes.". He ran to home, and tald to Nat. And he said..."I wish for a sausage!". Then a sausage appeared on the table. She angry to him. And she said to him "You're fool." so he was cross and said that he wishes the sausage was on the end of her nose. It came true!!!! So he wished that the sausage is off her nose. Her nose became as before. There is just a sausage on the table. They have no wishes. I was able to read this book easily.
